A native of Buffalo, NY, Cami Clune is an American singer/songwriter who became known widely as a contestant on season 19 of The Voice.
She attends University at Buffalo where she is majoring in musical theater.

Cami Clune Illness
During her senior year of high school, Clune was diagnosed with a condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that causes chronic pain.
When she was 16 years old, her health problems led her to quit musical theater. “For a long time, I felt depressed and thought that this huge part of my life – of me – would be gone forever. And this is where music stepped in and quite literally saved my life.” She wrote on Instagram.
Cami Clune Backyard Broadway
Clune loves to give back to the community. She founded a charity called Backyard Broadway which uses “the power of music and theatre as a platform to help people in need.”
Backyard Broadway began by helping families affected by pediatric cancer. They even went ahead and made a short film called “Blink of an Eye” addressing the opioid epidemic, starring Cami.

Clune’s love for music began when she 4 years old as a dancer and by the time she was 11 years old, she had fallen completely in love with musical theater. The musical theatre remained her primary focus throughout her childhood.
Her style of music has been described as Alternative / R&B / Pop. Cami performs from 2 to 5 times a week in Buffalo, NY and the surrounding areas. She has also sung the national anthem during numerous sporting events.
