Who made it to The Voice Season 19 Top 9 Contestants?

On December 1, 2020, The Voice top 9 contestants of season 19 of the show were announced following the voting that took place. Making it to the top 9 meant that the contestants would be advancing to the semi-finals.

These contestants are;

  • Carter Rubin
  • Ian Flanigan
  • Jim Ranger
  • Bailey Rae
  • Tamara Jade
  • John Holiday
  • Ben Allen
  • Cami Clune
  • DeSz

On Team Kelly. for the first round of votes, DeSz received the most votes while Kelly chose to save Cami Clune.

On Team Gwen, 14-year-old Carter Rubin received the most votes from viewers. Gwen then went on to save Ben Allen. Ben is the country singer she stole earlier in the season.

Ian Flanigan from Team Blake received the most votes. Blake Shelton then decided to save Jim Ranger.

On Team Legend, John Holiday garnered the most votes from viewers while coach John went on to save Tamara Jade.

Contestants in the four-way wildcard were Tanner Gomes, Payge Turner, Worth the Wait, and Bailey Rae. Worth the Wait sang “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” by Martina McBride.

On the other hand, Payge Turner sang “Diamonds” by Sam Smith and her coach, Gwen praised her performance saying it was “so good” and “stunning.”

Tanner Gomes sang “Pickin’ Wildflowers” by Keith Anderson while Bailey Rae performed “Never Again, Again” by Lee Ann Womack. Bailey won the four-way Instant Save
