Jones is also known for his role as Bruce Van Exel, court services officer, on the CBS television series Judging Amy as well as Sergeant Wade Grey on the ABC police drama The Rookie.
He attended Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance, California, then graduated from Tuskegee University.
