Peltz began her acting career as a child. When she was 13 years old, she was starring alongside Jeff Daniels in a Manhattan Theatre Club production of Blackbird.
She would later go on to have her debut film in the Christmas comedy, Deck the Halls in 2006 as Mackenzie. After that, she had many other roles. For example, in 2008, Peltz co-starred in the comedy film, Harold, as Becki. The very same year, in June, she appeared in a music video of a single known as “7 Things” by Miley Cyrus.
In 2010, Peltz portrayed the character Katara, in an adventure film known as The Last Airbender. For that character, she received a negative reaction for portraying an originally Inuit character and she is Caucasian herself. Peltz received a Golden Raspberry Award nomination for the Worst Supporting Actress.
Since 2013, Peltz has been appearing as a cast in the drama-thriller series in A&E’s where she portrays the character, Bradley Martin. Bradley is a love interest for the young Norman Bates. After the second episode of the second season, she left the main cast. She, however, returned for the final three episodes of the third season as a guest star.
Peltz would later, on March 26, 2013, appear as one of the main characters in the fourth Transformers film Transformers: Age of Extinction as Tessa Yeager. In2014, she starred as Kate Miller in the teen drama film, Affluenza. Later in 2016, she joined d the cast of the dark comedy film Youth in Oregon. In the film, Peltz played Annie Gleason, the daughter of Billy Crudup and Christina Applegate’s characters.
She was also cast in the Hulu drama series When the Street Lights Go On, where she played Chrissy Monroe. In addition, she appeared in Alex Pettyfer’s directorial debut film, Back Roads.
