Marraco began her journalism career back in college when she took a semester off to work as a news assistant at NY1 a local cable station. After graduating from college, Marraco decided to join the Spanish channel Univision Network. During her time here, she was able to interview several people including the former Florida Governor Charlie Crist and Senator Marco Rubio.
Aside from her anchoring duties, the Emmy award winner has also served as a host and guest speaker at several organizations including Charles County Sheriff’s Office, The Washington Humane Society, Montgomery County Little League, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Bethany House (a domestic violence shelter) and EmpowerHER, which supports girls who have lost their mothers.
Throughout her long successful career as a journalist, Marraco has earned herself three Emmy Awards.
