A native of Atlanta Georgia, Lil Marlo whose real name was Rudolph Johnson, was an American rapper signed to the Quality control record label.
He grew up in the Bowen Projects in the Westside area of Atlanta.

Lil Marlo Death
Marlo was shot dead on July 11, 2020. Police were responding to a car crash on Interstate 285 in downtown Atlanta. They found him dead of gunshot wounds.
News of his death was shared by Rapper Lil Yachty on Instagram where he wrote; “We just did a song a 4 this morning smh rip brother @lilmarlo”
According to TMZ, a police official said, “At this time, investigators believe the victim was the intended target of the gunfire and they are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.”
