Gina Silva is an American journalist who works for KTTV Fox News and KCOP. She also does live reports for Good Day LA and Fox 11 Morning News.
Silva graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
While in college, Gina began working for Univision in Phoenix. Soon after, she began hosting her own show, “Realidad en Educación,” a show which focused on successful Latinos in Arizona.
Silva was offered a job with a CBS affiliate in Tucson after graduating, and she anchored the morning news and did daily live reports.

Silva began working at KTTV Fox News as a newscaster in 2001. She nows fills in for the morning and evening anchors on both KTTV and KCOP. She previously co-anchored the KCOP weekend news with Kent Ninomiya from 2001 to 2003.
Prior to joining KTTV, Gina was a national correspondent for the entertainment program Extra (television show) from 1997 to 2000. She has also worked for KNXV, the ABC affiliate in Phoenix.
While working as KNXV, Silva was a member of the exclusive unit “The Investigators”. Other stations she has worked for include KOLD, the CBS affiliate in Tucson, and the Univision network in Phoenix.
