Daisy Kent is an Account Executive and TV personality who became widely known after appearing on season 28 of The Bachelor.
Kent is originally from Minnesota but lives in San Diego, California. While a majority of people got to know her after appearing on The Bachelor, she is not new to fame. Kent went viral in 2023 after sharing her story about hearing loss and the power of cochlear implants.

Daisy Kent Hearing Loss?
Daisy’s loss of hearing began when she was 15 years old. During an interview with CBS 8, She recalled one morning her father tried to wake her, but she wouldn’t budge.
“He was shaking me, and I was like, ‘This is weird’.’ I looked at him, I couldn’t hear him, then sat up and realized something was wrong with my left ear.”
“It started as a lot of high-pitched ringing and then just progressively got worse, and I couldn’t understand speech very well,” she shared.
She was diagnosed with Meniere’s disease, a disorder of the inner ear when she was 17. Later when Daisy was 21, she was diagnosed with Lyme disease, which doctors believed was potentially caused by a tick bite. Doctors suspected that the Lyme disease likely contributed to her hearing loss.

Kent is a published author. She wrote a children’s book titled, Daisy Doo: All The Sounds She Knew. During an interview with CBS 8, Daisy talked about what inspired her to write the book.
“I always wanted to write a children’s book. When I got the surgery, I realized there were a lot of emotions I went through. I was so scared; there was a lot of unknowns,” she explained.
Daisy Kent Nonprofit Organization
In 2020, Daisy also started Hear Your Heart, a non-profit organization that helps children with autoimmune disorders and hearing loss. Hear Your Heart provides medical care, and financial aid for future education, and raises awareness about mental health for kids and families.
