Arizona Brandy is a Filipino drag queen who is known as one of the contestants on the second season of Drag Race Philippines.
She was also a mentor on the first season of Mudrakels, a web series that features drag mothers and their drag children.
Brandy started doing drag when she was 17 years old and has been performing at Rapture Cafe Bar in Cubao, Quezon City for nine years. She describes herself as a self-proclaimed Adele impersonator and often drinks beer on stage while uttering her catchphrase “Shot puno!” which means “Full shot!” in Filipino.

Arizona Brandy Drag Name
Brandy’s drag name was originally Arizona Balyena, which means “Arizona Whale” in Filipino. She decided to change her last name to Brandy because of her fondness for drinking. She also said that she chose the name Arizona because it sounds like “arise now”, which reflects her positive attitude and outlook in life.
Arizona Brandy is not afraid to experiment with different looks and styles, but she always maintains a pedestrian-chic aesthetic that showcases her personality and charisma. She likes to wear colorful outfits, wigs, and accessories that make her stand out from the crowd. She also likes to incorporate elements of Filipino culture and humor into her drag, such as wearing a jeepney-inspired dress or making jokes about local celebrities and politicians.

Arizona Brandy Drag Race Philippines
Brandy is a contestant on season two of Drag Race Philippines, which premiered on August 2, 2023. On the show, Arizona impressed the judges and the viewers with her performance in the first episode. She won the mini-challenge where she had to pose with a tarantula on her body and also won the maxi-challenge where she had to rap and dance in a girl group number.
Arizona also slayed the runway with her feather-themed look that featured a blue gown with a long train and a matching headpiece. She received P80,000 and the first Ru-badge of the season for her win.
Brandy is also a drag mother to the Rapture Royalties, a group of young drag queens who perform at Rapture Cafe Bar. She often takes them to her gigs and mentors them on how to improve their craft and confidence. She hopes to inspire more people to appreciate and celebrate local drag culture through her participation in Drag Race Philippines Season 2.
