Anita Vogel Biography

A native of Tarzana, California, Anita Vogel is an American journalist working as a news reporter for the Fox News Channel.

Prior to Fox News, Anita had worked for ABC Network News, WJET, KCRA, and WTLV. She joined Fox News in 2001. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in broadcast journalism and political science.

Vogel joined Fox News in 2001. While at Fox News, Anita has covered stories like the torching of an explosive-packed home in Escondido, CA, the 2012 movie theater shooting in Aurora, Co, and various consumer interest stories.

Anita also reported live from New Orleans, LA when Hurricane Katrina struck the region and spent the next two weeks covering the catastrophic aftermath.

Prior to joining Fox News Channel, Vogel worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at KCRA-TV (NBC 3) in Sacramento, CA.  She also worked as a reporter for WTLV-TV (NBC 12) in Jacksonville, FL, and for WJET-TV (ABC 24) in Erie, PA.
