A native of Texas, Amanda Dugan is an American reporter/anchor who is best known as a morning traffic reporter for KXAN-TV.
Dugan graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Communication Technology and journalism.

Dugan began her career after she was selected as, “America’s Next Top Co-Host”. She jumped aboard the popular morning show “Orange Juice and Biscuits” on KTSW-89.9 FM.
After less than two since her radio debut, Dugan became the host of her own morning program, “Rise N Shine.”
Five months after receiving her degree, Amanda was named one of the Top 5 Finalists in the annual CW Star Search. She was eventually granted the opportunity of a lifetime and was selected as the 2011 CW Austin Star.
Dugan worked as the voice, face, and personality of The CW Austin. Within a year, she represented the station on-air, on social media, and at various events around Austin.
When her stint with CW ended, Amanda joined KXAN News as the Morning Traffic Reporter.
