Her husband sang with the a cappella group The Blanks, which made many appearances on Scrubs under the name “The Worthless Peons”. He was mostly known for his character as lawyer Ted Buckland on the American comedy-drama Scrubs.
Sam Lloyd Death
Sam died on May 1, 2020, at the age of 56 years. He had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in January 2019. The tumor was revealed to be metastatic lung cancer. It had spread to his liver, spine, and jaw bone.
In May 2019, he announced on his GoFundMe page that the tumor and hematoma that were in his brain were “virtually gone” but he was not cancer-free or in remission. He was revealed that he was able to resume work on his musical, “With Pam & Gil.”
Sam, however, died from the brain tumor. HisScrubs co-star Zach Braff paid tribute to him on Twitter writing;
“Rest In Peace to one of the funniest actors I’ve ever had the joy of working with. Sam Lloyd made me crack up and break character every single time we did a scene together.
He could not have been a kinder man. I will forever cherish the time I had with you, Sammy.”
