In1968, he received a major boost in his career when he portrayed the role of “God” in the play “Steambath” which fetched him an Obie Award.
Hector is also a voice artist. He has played the voice of Bane in the film “Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman”. Hector is popularly known by most of his fans as Dr. Philip Walters on the CBS medical drama television series “Chicago Hope” of which he appeared in up 141 episodes.
In 2008, he joined the comedy-drama detective mystery series “Monk” as Dr. Neven Bell. Hector has won the Emmy Award, he has also won the ALMA Award amidst other award nominations in the industry. Despite his age, he has not dropped his acting gloves as his notable film was in 2017 when he played a voice role in “The Lego Batman Movie”.
