Golshifteh Farahani is an Iranian-French actress, singer, and musician. She gained critical acclaim for her roles in films such as “The Pear Tree”, “M for Mother”, and “About Elly”. 

In 2008, Farahani appeared in the Hollywood film “Body of Lies” alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. However, her decision to appear partially nude in a photo shoot for a French magazine led to her being banned from returning to Iran, as the Iranian government disapproved of her actions.
