Thore enrolled and was accepted into the Theatre Summer Enrichment Program at the Governor’s School of North Carolina of Meredith College in 2000. She later went on to graduate from Page High School in 2002.
After graduating from college, Thore enrolled at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. While there, she majored in Theatre. She later relocated to South Korea to teach English to school children.
