Father’s Death
Her father Harry Lewis died in 1998, at the age of 83 years. Harris was a clarinetist and saxophonist. He was a member of Ambrose’s orchestra.
He eventually worked as Vera Lynn’s manager and accompanied her on her international concerts, overseeing lighting and production of her shows.
Vera Lynn Death/ Cause of Death
Anne’s mother, Vera Lynn, died on June 18, 2020, at the age of 103 years. The cause of death has not yet been revealed.
The family released a statement confirming her death. The statement read; “The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of one of Britain’s best-loved entertainers at the age of 103.
“Dame Vera Lynn, who lived in Ditchling, East Sussex, passed away earlier today, 18th June 2020, surrounded by her close family.”

Anne Lewis works as the vice-president of the Dame Vera Lynn Children’s Charity. She also runs her mother’s music company. For a short while, Anne had worked as her mother’s dresser during her music tours.
Anne has also worked for Warner Bros Records in California and as a researcher at the BBC. In addition, she has her own complementary therapy business.
