A native of Monterey, California, Tory Belleci (Salvatore Paul Belleci ) is an American television personality and model maker.
He is best known for his work on the Discovery Channel television program MythBusters.
Tory has also worked with Industrial Light and Magic on films including Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace and Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.
Belleci graduated from San Francisco State University’s film school in 1994.

Tory Belleci Career
After graduating in 1994, Tory began working with Jamie Hyneman at M5 Industries. He worked as a stage manager, running errands and cleaning the shop.
After a few years, Tory started work at Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) where he worked for eight years as a model builder, sculptor, and painter.
In 2003, he began working on Discovery Channel’s MythBusters, doing work behind the scenes. During the second season, he was featured as part of the show’s build team. Later in the third season, Tory received on-screen credit.
Later in 2005, Tory persuaded fellow ILM veteran Grant Imahara to join the show, following the departure of original cast member Scottie Chapman.
