In the year 2003, Redz landed a management deal with Violator Records while being apart of the group, Foundation. Over the course of his career, Redz hosted over one thousand concerts.

On May 28, 2020, it was revealed that Redz had died. DMV, which he was a huge supporter of, confirmed on their official Twitter page with a statement that read; “So it’s been confirmed. R.I.P to a DMV & radio legend Tony Redz.”
His former colleague, Sunni, broke the news of his death on Twitter writing,: “Got a call from DJ Flexx that shattered my heart. Can’t believe our former colleague Tony Redz has passed away. Way too young. Prayers to his family. Unbelievable.”
