On February 15, 2013, TommyInnit launched his first YouTube channel, Channelnutpig, and on December 24, 2015, he opened his TommyInnit channel. On September 9, 2018, he posted his first video to his YouTube channel and often uploads videos of himself playing Minecraft.
He made his first video about the Hypixel minigame Skyblock on August 6, 2019. His channel quickly grew from 4,800 to 66,000 subscribers by regularly uploading Skyblock-related content.
TommyInnit joined the roleplay-focused Minecraft server Dream SMP, operated by eponymous YouTuber Dream, on July 4, 2020, causing his channel to grow from 100,000 to 1 million subscribers by September 2020.
