Susan Yeager Biography

Susan Yeager is the daughter of the late Chuck Yeager, s a United States Air Force officer, flying ace, and record-setting test pilot.

For a while, she was the one who watched over her father’s fortune until she breached her duty as trustee which led to a court battle.

Yeager is the daughter of the late Glennis Dickhouse and the late Chuck Yeager. Her parents got married in 1945 until 1990 when Glennis died of ovarian cancer.

The couple lived in Grass Valley, California, after Chuck’s retirement from the Air Force in 1975. Her father Chuck, died on December 7, 2020, at age 97, in a Los Angeles hospital.

After Susan’s father got married to his then-girlfriend actress Victoria Scott D’Angelo in 2003, a bitter dispute arose between him, his children, and his new wife.

Chuck’s children claimed that D’Angelo, who was 35 years younger than their father, had married him for his fortune but Yeager and D’Angelo both denied the charge.

The children went on to accuse D’Angelo of “undue influence” on Yeager, and Yeager accused his children of diverting millions of dollars from his assets.

In 2008, the California Court of Appeal found out that Susan had breached her duty as trustee and as a result, the court ruled in favor of Yeager.
