Judge Lionel Richie did not like his attitude and he said: “Nick, we have a problem because I don’t like you. I gotta be honest with you, I don’t like you and for some weird reason it’s not sitting well with me. I don’t like your attitude and I don’t really think you’re gonna make it in Hollywood.”
These are some really harsh words to tell someone but Richie explained that he said these things to hurt him in an effort to break Merico down and then build him back up.
