Four men tried to convince Javid to be part of their illegal scheme and when she refused, they threatened her boyfriend and her family. She ended up transferring about $100,000 to the men’s account. Three years later, Javid admitted to the fraud accusations in court and she went to prison for a month. She also served five months of house arrest and three years of probation as well as paying $10,000 for restitution.
