Magee Hickey Biography
A native of Brooklyn, New York Magee Hickey an Emmy awarding American journalist working as a reporter for PIX11. She joined the station in 2011.
Hickey graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She also attended The Convent of the Sacred Heart and The Chapin School.

Hickey works as a reporter at PIX11. She began her journalism career at the university. She became popular while working at WLNE-TV after she went undercover as a hooker to “rid a nice residential neighborhood of prostitution.”
Magee went on to work at WNEW and WABC and while at WNBC, became the first anchor of the highly successful Weekend Today in New York program.
Hickey spent years on the pre-dawn patrol at WCBS, getting up to 2 a.m. to cover the news of the day. This schedule allowed her to raise her two daughters and to care for her aging and ailing parents.

Her husband, Richolson is the son of Harold P. Salembier of Oyster Bay and East Hampton, L.I., and the late Mary Lathrop Salembier. He works as assistant vice president of Frank B. Hall & Company, a New York insurance concern.
Richolson graduated from the Buckley School, the Canterbury School, and Stanford University.

Lawrence F. Hickey Center for Child Development is a school founded by her late father for special needs children in the Bronx.
