Gabriela’s parents are Gabino and Ingrid Amparo. Her dad was a musician and he met Gabriela’s mother in one of his shows. She says that she is inspired by her dad and that he taught her everything that she knows.

Gabriela began singing at the age of five years. She would sing at church and even at school, with her father as her mentor on her musical journey.

Gabriela also wrote a song entitled, “Before You Go,” for her best friend which she shared on Instagram in November 2019. During the Hollywood Round, Gabriela was shown in the “Pop” category of the Genre Challenge, alongside Margie Mays and Nick Merico. She sang “Say Something” by A Great Big World, ft. Christina Aguilera and was told that she had advanced.
For the duet, Gabriela was paired with Elyjuh Rene called “Kimlyjuh” and they sang Stay by Rihanna, ft. Mikky Ekko. Both of them advanced.
During her solo performance, she sang “I’m Here” by Cynthia Erivo.
