A native of Oak Park, Illinois, Dan Proft is an American radio talk show host with AM 560 The Answer in Chicago where he co-hosts the morning drive show.
He is also an attorney and a former Republican candidate for Governor. He is also the co-founder of the Northwestern Chronicle, an independent campus newspaper.
Proft attended Benet Academy in Lisle. He went on and joined Northwestern University where he graduated with a B.A. He later Loyola University Chicago School of Law at night and earned Juris Doctor degree.
