Prior to being the chief international correspondent, Ward was a Moscow-based news correspondent for ABC News programs. She has also worked for CNN in London. From 2004 to 2005, she was an assignment editor for Fox News in New York City.
From October 2007 to October 2010, Ward worked for ABC News as a correspondent based in Moscow. In October 2011, Ward began her CBS career as the network’s foreign news correspondent. She was a contributor for 60 Minutes and served as a fill-in anchor on CBS This Morning beginning in January 2014.
