Brian Tyree Henry is an American actor, best known for portraying Alfred “Paper Boi” Miles in the FX comedy-drama series Atlanta (2016–present). The series earned him Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
His film breakthrough happened in 2018, with leading roles in the heist film Widows, the romantic drama film If Beale Street Could Talk, and the animated superhero film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. He also starred in the thriller film Don’t Let Go and the horror film Child’s Play in 2019.

Henry started his acting career on stage, appearing in a variety of plays and musicals. In 2007, he played Tybalt in Shakespeare in the Park’s Romeo and Juliet production. Henry also starred in Tarell Alvin McCraney’s The Brother/Sister Plays, a trio of plays. He had even more success in 2011 as a member of the original cast of the musical The Book of Mormon.
He starred in episodes of Law & Order, The Good Wife, and Boardwalk Empire as a guest star. In the 2015 comedy film Puerto Ricans in Paris, he made his feature film debut.
