Brian Fallon Biography

A native of Red Bank, New Jersey, Brian Fallon is an American singer-songwriter who is the lead vocalist, of the rock band The Gaslight Anthem.

He is also the rhythm guitarist and main lyricist of the band. He has recorded five studio albums with the band.

Fallon is also a member of the duo The Horrible Crowes, alongside The Gaslight Anthem’s guitar technician and touring guitarist Ian Perkins.

Brian Fallon Gaslight Anthem

The Gaslight Anthem is an American rock band from New Brunswick, New Jersey which was formed in 2006. The band consists of Brian Fallon, Alex Rosamilia, Alex Levine, and Benny Horowitz. The band released their debut album, Sink or Swim in May 2007, through XOXO Records.

Their second album, The ’59 Sound, was released in August 2008 through SideOneDummy Records. The band’s third album, American Slang, was released in June 2010, and its fourth, Handwritten, was released through Mercury Records in July 2012. The lead single from Handwritten, “45”, became their most successful single on the charts. The band later released their fifth full-length studio album, Get Hurt, on August 12, 2014, through Island Records.

On July 29, 2015, the band announced an indefinite break following their European summer tour, which concluded at Reading Festival on Sunday 30 August. On 3rd January 2018, it was revealed the band would be reuniting for Governors Ball Music Festival held on Randall’s Island in New York City. Later, the band via their Facebook page, confirmed that they were reuniting for a string of shows celebrating the 10th Anniversary of The 59′ Sound. Fallon, however, stated that the band would not be working on anything new during the reunion.

Local Honey is Falon’s third studio album which was released on March 27, 2020, through Lesser Known Records.

The lead single from the album is “You Have Stolen My Heart” which was released on December 9, 2019. Later on January 17, 2020, the second single from the album “21 Days” was released. The third single was “When You’re Ready”.

Speaking about the album, Fallon said; “Every single song is about right now. There’s nothing on this record that has to do with the past or even the future, it just has to do with the moments that are presented and things that I’ve learned and I’m finding in my day to day.

This record is 100 percent about the day today. It’s not about these glorious dreams or miserable failures, it’s just about life and how I see it.”
