Ayana Harry Biography
A native of Brooklyn, Ayana Harry is an American journalist working as a reporter for PIX11 News at 5 and 10. She joined the station in 2014.
Harry graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics. She is also a graduate of the Chapin School in Manhattan.

Harry works as a 5 p.m. and 6 p.m weekdays reporter at PIX11. She joined the station in January 2014 from WTIC-TV, the Fox station in Hartford, Connecticut.
Harry was the only journalist to interview Ron Taylor, in one of the most unique cases in Connecticut legal history. Taylor is a man once exonerated for a 1993 murder, but then ordered back to prison.
She covered the aftermath of tropical storm Irene, Hurricane Sandy, and tornadoes in the Springfield, Massachusetts area. Harry was also one of the first reporters on the scene of the Sandy Hook School shooting. She provided live reports from Newtown as events unfolded.

Harry has worked as a digital reporter and field producer for ABC News in New York. While working there, she covered major stories like; the Bernie Madoff case, and Captain Sullenberger’s Miracle on the Hudson as well as the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
Prior to working as a digital journalist, Harry had worked as an associate producer, production associate, and desk assistant at ABC News in New York.

Harry left ABC News for WTIC-TV, the Fox station based in Hartford, Connecticut. She worked at the station for three years until she finally moved to PIX11.
