Artem Chigvintsev is a Russian professional dancer, specializing in Latin dancing. He was a cast member of the dance show Burn the Floor; performing both on Broadway in 2009 and in the West End in 2010.
In 2010, Chigvintsev joined the UK’s reality dance show, Strictly Come Dancing, and in his first year, he won the show with his celebrity partner Kara Tointon.

They were eliminated in the quarterfinals, finishing in sixth place.
For season 20, Chigvintsev was paired with award-winning singer Patti LaBelle. They were eliminated in week 6, finishing in eighth place. On 19 August 2015, Chigvintsev was announced as one of the professional dancers for season 21 of Dancing with the Stars. However, he was not part of the lineup due to a last-minute casting change.
Chigvintsev then wrote on Instagram that he would still dance with the pros in the ballroom. It was later revealed that former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe was meant to compete alongside him that season, but was prevented by Bachelor producer Mike Fleiss.
