A native of Bowie, Maryland, Abby Phillip is an American digital journalist, working as a CNN White House Correspondent based in Washington, D.C.

Phillip joined CNN in 2017 to cover the Trump Administration. She previously worked at The Washington Post where she served as a national political reporter, covering the White House.

She began journalism career as a White House reporter and blogger for POLITICO where she also covered campaign finance and lobbying.
