A native of Elpaso Texas, Estela Casas is an American News anchor who left KVIA News Team in 2010, for The UMC Foundation.

She began anchoring on KVIA-TV with Gary Warner in 1993 and eventually left the station on January 7, 2020.

Casas is also an advocate for cancer awareness. She was inducted into the El Paso Women’s Hall of Fame.

Casas attended Arizona State University, where she studied voice performance. She later received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in communications.
